Rogue Wave Scenarios is a London-based resilience consultancy specialising in scenario planning. We help leaders, teams and organisations to navigate radical uncertainty. We are built and defined by raw, first-hand experience in the most challenging environments on the planet. Our origin can be traced back to a moment in time, when our founder Max Thorpe was hit by a devastating rogue wave in a race to row across the Atlantic Ocean in 2017. The battle to survive that followed is widely regarded as one of the most perilous course of events in ocean racing history. Just 2 years later, Max returned to win the race and set a new World Record. We believe resilience is a way of thinking; a mindset driven by an ability to make bold, courageous and effective decisions under pressure. By building clarity in the present and a criticality of the future, RWS help our clients achieve this dynamic decision-making edge. Our initial services include preparedness training via pioneering scenario planning workshops for ocean racing teams operating in some of the world's most volatile and unpredictable conditions. Max leads our further resilience initiatives through speaking, seminars, company-off-sites and collaborative projects.
