The International School of Brescia is founded on the highest of educational standards and international values that encourage students to become citizens for the modern world. A kindergarten and primary school, IS Brescia satisfies the educational needs of local Italian and foreign students (30 months of age and up). Located in Botticino, six kilometres from the city centre, our school provides a pleasant, enriching environment in which to learn. In partnership with the International School of Milan, IS Brescia shares the motto, “For a World Without Frontiers,” and it lies at the heart of our mission and educational philosophy. Committed to the goal of International Baccalaureate status, our professionally-trained teachers offer a curriculum based on the IB Primary Years Programme, an internationally recognized course of instruction given in English by native speakers. An additional 1¼ hours of Italian are provided daily to assure full integration within the local context. Limited class sizes and state-of-the-art educational facilities foster the development of inquiry-based learning and achievement.
