Women in GIS is a supportive space for all women, including non-binary and trans women, to come to together, learn and collaborate on the design and use of GIS through creative problem solving. We hold a safe space to discuss the disparities we face from our involvement as a minority group in a technology field. Our goal is to engage and support the community on the benefits of collecting, visualizing, and analyzing data from a geographical perspective.
