Carmelo Noli is playing a strategic role in this Port since the beginning of XX Century: in 1910 the Company began its activity with its own tugs in the Ports of Savona and Vado Ligure. The company started operating with tugs of ownership and despite the loss of two units during the second world war, the company has always pursued a policy of investment and innovation, who brought already in the 90s to adopt azimuthal tugs and to have today a fleet of six tugs. In the last years the company got some certificates for its management systems, ISO 9001, for quality management system, ISO 14001, for environmental management system, and OHSAS 18001, for health and safety management system.
