The company was founded in 1998 by upper limb prosthetic specialist and researcher John M. Miguelez, CP, FAAOP(D), and currently has seven Centers of Excellence strategically located across the United States. While general prosthetic clinics have a patient base that is 90 percent lower limb and may see one or two upper limb amputees a year, Arm Dynamics works exclusively with upper limb amputees and sees hundreds each year.
