The Havard Virtuous Leadership Institute (HVLI) is a network of Institutes around the globe, that are leading a movement to ignite hearts for greatness and raise up a new generation of virtuous leaders called to transform life, culture, and business. At the end of the day, leadership is about achieving true greatness by bringing out the greatness in others. This kind of leadership cannot exist without the virtues of the heart: Magnanimity and Humility. Virtue is a dynamic strength that allows the leader to do what is required in service to those they lead. The virtues of practical wisdom, courage, self-mastery and justice form the foundation of leadership, while the virtues of magnanimity and humility are the heart of authentic leadership. Leadership is a way of being, which can be lived by anyone, no matter their place in society or position in an organization. Our programs are inspired by the leadership philosophy set forth in the books by Alexandre Havard, “Virtuous Leadership” (2007) and “Created for Greatness: The Power of Magnanimity” (2011). Virtuous Leadership institutes are permanently established in Moscow, North America (Washington/Minneapolis), Shanghai, France, Spain, and Brussels.
