www.engineeredlearning.co.ukWe are on a mission to change young lives through engineering by supporting: - Schools - Alternative Education Provision to young people aged 14 to 16, offering customised, NCFE accredited experience in fabrication, welding and motor vehicle engineering in a real workshop environment as a preventative measure to exclusion with documented improvement in classroom behaviour. - Vulnerable Young People aged 11 to 16 through our Active Hands School Holiday Project - NEET young adults through traineeship programmes -Manufacturing for industry to support our programmes Our unique mix of youth work and engineering has produced some amazing success stories from the young man who turned away from a life of crime after being arrested for armed robbery at the age of 14 to the young woman who is now training to be a welder after exclusion from school and becoming NEET after leaving school . We are not saying that we have all the answers, but we do know we are the only organisation in the country doing what we do, that we have an 8-year track record of making a very positive impact on the lives of young people, that we are well supported by local government, organisations, community groups and schools and that we make a big difference to the communities we work with - with your support, we believe we can do even more.
