Founded in 1989, Progetto Continenti is engaged in poverty alleviation programs in several countries, targeting the most vulnerable groups of the population in its interventions. It is officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and acknowledged by the European Union. Progetto Continenti’s interventions are mainly concentrated in South-East Asia (Cambodia, Myanmar and Vietnam), Central America (Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua) and East Africa (Ethiopia and Southern Sudan).
