Learn about the journey of Jabulani, an orphaned elephant was rescued and taken to the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre for rehabilitation, in 1997, who then found a family with a herd of elephants that were rescued by HESC from Zimbabwe in 2002. Our lodge was built in 2005, to ensure a safe and happy place for the elephants and their carers, for years to come. Through the years we have become synonymous with exceptional service, as each guest’s itinerary is completely personalised to their desired pace, as well as their culinary journey.
