The Next Chapter Resource Center (TNC) is a not for profit social service agency serving the greater Columbus, Georgia area. The organization was founded by Mary Wright who has practical experience dealing with less than ideal circumstances. The desire that God has placed in her heart to use what she has learned to help others who are struggling. She believes, that the place they are in need only be a season not a life sentence. The Next Chapter Resource Center (TNC), target group is economically disadvantaged young men and women ages 18 – 29 years old in need of a support system, to help build a foundation on which they will become self-sustainable. The target group may be homeless and or unemployed. It might also consist of college students in need for a semester, or victims of domestic and or sexual abuse suffering from low self-esteem. We also want to reach victims of trafficking or persons in need for countless other reasons. Our vision is to be their support system during a very hard chapter in their life, while preparing them for their Next Chapter. We strongly believe God’s word as stated in Philippians 2:4 (paraphrased). “not (only) looking to our own interest but to the interest (hopes, aspirations, feelings, thoughts, etc..) of others”. We feel called, according to this scripture to set our goal so as to provide the resources necessary to change the lives of young adults. We desire to transform their lives one person at a time by providing the physical and spiritual resources to help them become successful.
