OPEN is the Ventura County chapter of Experience Unlimited, a statewide network of executive and technical professionals dedicated to helping one another land their next career opportunity through outplacement training and networking. Experience Unlimited (EU), which is sponsored by the California Employment Development Department (EDD), supports active job seekers and employers by facilitating professional growth, networking, and no-fee placement of local workers via EDD’s CalJOBS web portal. The services offered by EDD’s Experience Unlimited program are available at numerous locations statewide. All services provided by OPEN come with NO FEE! OPEN operates from its headquarters in Oxnard in Ventura County. OPEN meets Wednesdays and Fridays for networking, training, and education. Wednesday meetings are for members only. Friday meetings are open to all professionals in transition.
