BACKGROUND Locate in Etterbeek, close to the European institutions, Shimera’s business dates back to 1984. The type of work undertaken broadened over the years. In the early days, the studio’s main activities focussed on still life in the studio, outdoor and industrial shoots. Based on this same mindset and given growing demand, a specialist photo coverage team was set up for the European institutions in the same way as the other specialist departments. EXPERIENCE & PHILOSOPHY As you can see from our list of major clients, most of them are longstanding clients, and some of them have been with us since Shimera was founded – which is clear proof of our quality and consistency. We therefore have several specialist “departments”, which work alongside each other day-to-day, with the shared aim of seeking perfection through professional and meticulous work. All those years of experience mean that Shimera can call on the support of a range of specialist suppliers, such as stylists, set designers, modellers, food stylists or even specialist editors. All these suppliers have become real partners through working with us on many occasions over the years, and they all share the feature of responding as quickly as possible even in difficult circumstances.
