The Waksman Institute of Microbiology, located on Busch Campus of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, aspires to improve the sustainability, availability, affordability and quality of life especially for those in the world who are underserved. The Institute's mission is to apply and develop technologies that enhance the potential for disease prevention, food security and renewable energy in a life-sustaining environment.
