Intercooperation Social Development India (also known as ICSD, IC India) adds value to the development efforts of poor and disadvantaged people and communities and contributes to continuous improvements of their economic, social and ecological situation. We strive to reduce poverty and socio economic disparities by enhancing livelihood opportunities through efficient utilization of natural resource and community empowerment, especially that of women. ICSD has gained experience and competence in development cooperation over the past 30 years. Since 2006, Intercooperation Social Development India has been registered as a Not for Profit Company under Section 25 of the Indian Companies Act. It is registered under Foreign Contribution Registration Act (FCRA). We work on three broad thematic domains: • Rural Livelihoods – Agricultural Value Chain Development, Livestock and Dairy, Organic and Fair trade • Climate Change – Adaptation, Disaster Risk Reduction, Mitigation • Governance – Local Governance, Water and Sanitation, Natural Resource Management
