Founded in 1985 in Sassuolo (Modena) as H.P. Srl by Mr. Luigi Camellini, Vapor Europe has been specialized for many years in design and production of a wide range of automatic and manual doors for railway vehicles, including access doors, interior doors and mobile steps for different types of vehicles (subways, trams). In 1995 the Company started a collaboration with Vapor (Chicago) for the San Francisco Tramway, and two years later (1997) was acquired by WABCO, starting a new season of commercial and technical progress, and changing its name in Vapor Europe in 2004. Since 2017 the Company has reorganized its core business in Service, becoming a center of competence within Wabtec Italy in the field of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance on railway vehicles, serving various sites throughout Italy with customers such as Hitachi, Siemens, Alstom, from which it is recognized and appreciated for the well-known professionalism and competence of its staff.
