Our unique story Turtle Studios is a Toronto based film production studio, known for the 2015 film “Us” and “Soul Mates!” in 2013. Founded by Canadian filmmaker Rob Tari, Turtle Studios strives to make unique films featuring unforgettable characters, exciting stories and state of the art technology. Turtle Studios has won acclaim from both viewers and critics alike when it burst onto the Canadian film market with it’s debut movie “Soul Mates!” The film, which tells the story of three ghosts pondering their journey into the afterlife, took home the “Most Popular Film Screened” at the 2013 Vaughan Multimedia Film Festival. 2015 saw the debut of the studio’s newest and most ambitious feature to date – “Us” Blending both live-action and animation, Us is a unique coming of age tale of friendship and finding one’s self. “Us” made it’s Canadian Premiere at the “2015 Toronto Independent Film Festival,” where it played to a sold out audience and rousing success. Us is currently on it’s 2015 film festival tour and will play next at the Los Angles Cinefest.
