Future health care is value-based, strongly outcome- and technology-driven, and critically builds upon flourishing innovation ecosystems. e/MTIC supports this with a well-organised collaboration between clinical centres, nearby knowledge institutes, and local industry. Our ecosystem strongly increases the speed of clinical implementation of high-tech health innovations maximizing value for the patient. Eindhoven MedTech Innovation Center (e/MTIC) has evolved from a longstanding and successful collaboration between Catharina Hospital, Eindhoven University of Technology, Kempenhaeghe Epilepsy and Sleep Center, Maxima Medical Center and Royal Philips. e/MTIC accommodates over 100 PhD students, jointly supervised by a similar number of experts from all e/MTIC partners.
