Nous Fè is Haitian Creole for “We do”, which is the mission of our partnership with Jacmel, Haiti. We utilize our platform to empower our patients and the communities we work with to effectuate positive and sustainable change. We are a newly founded Northwestern student group, aimed at increasing the accessibility to healthcare to local communities in Jacmel, Haiti. Through partnership with our parent organization, Angel Wings International, we lead medical service trips during the summer, bring global health awareness to the NU student body, and build a connection with Jacmel. However, our work doesn’t stop with our direct travel to Jacmel. Throughout the school year, our Northwestern undergraduate students engage in non-profit work involving research, grant writing, development, and media outreach. All of these efforts are aimed at working towards building a long-lasting partnership between the Northwestern community and the community of Jacmel, and advancing sustainable global health work.
