Law Office of Judie Saunders
www.jsaunderslawfirm.comI am a New York City trained trial attorney inspired by her clients and pro bono work performed for incarcerated men, women and children. I am also the host of the Child Athlete Abuse Podcast. My personal interests are boxing, running, strength training, pilates and skiing with my teenage boys. Before earning a law degree, I worked as a staff member at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in Washington, D.C. I also served as an executive team member at the 1996 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, IL. It was at that National Convention, where President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore were nominated for reelection. During this time period, I traveled and worked on national campaigns in Missouri and Illinois. Being a first generation American can create a deep sense of empathy for “outsiders and the underdog.” Because I lived among a community where you are never fully accepted, I set my career path to ensure the indifference or intentional acts of others does not silence or cause harm. My passions are inviting others to speak, be empowered and learn from my mistakes. For over 20 years, I have worked on behalf of clients accused of serious crimes and individuals who have suffered sexual, physical and psychological injuries. • I am proud to be a certified B Corporation status, a designation that my business received due to practicing a high level of social and environmental standards including accountability and transparency. • The Women’s Business Enterprise Council awarded my firm the certification of “Women’s Business Enterprise.“ This certification is a world class certification that more than 1,000 prestigious corporate brands, states, cities and other entities look to when searching for partnerships with diverse inclusive companies. I have been quoted and/or featured in the New York Times, Washington Post, Orange County Register, New Jersey Law Journal, Evolve 40over40, local publications and the New Jersey Law Journal.
