The Impossible Dream, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, is a universally designed wheelchair accessible ocean going catamaran. With its barrier free environment, it allows a mixed ability crew (disabled and able-bodied sailors) to challenge their limitations by working together to sail the boat. We provide an innovative sailing experience to members of the disabled community and we make evident that opportunities, specifically post catastrophic injury, are truly limitless. Through our partnerships with the nations’ leading rehabilitation centers, our sailing events reach 1000+ participants annually in more than 20 cities throughout the United States.
