FairsFair.org
www.fairsfair.orgWith contracts as a foundation for trust in society, FairsFair looks to build upon that trust in a digital age. The digital age impacts interaction, though new channels of sales and through the addition of services rendered. On top of the physical services and/or products, digital services provide additional information and insights. The latter help consumers to make more educated choices, as long as the provided information and insights are objective and understandable. FairsFair is designed to foster collaboration in a GDPR compliant fashion. It organises multiparty contracts between the physical services provider, the digital services provider (can be the same entity) and the consumer, understandably. Individual commercial and strategic interests, including personal privacy aspects, are governed by transparent smart contracts. These smart contracts control data access to relevant information for the designated stakeholders in the agreement. Open source components and certification processes support the validity of the FairsFair claim for GDPR compliant data exchange. This makes the open standard a no regret requirement for authorities that look to reuse aggregated information for their public services. Knowing that all interests are met: full control over data and identities of citizens, and safeguarding commercial and strategic information of market players. As an independent data infrastructure FairsFair facilitates fair interactions in the digital age.
