A spin-off of the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona and the University of Barcelona, TMB is a young enterprise made up of engineers and biomedical researchers with well-demonstrated experience in the development of biomedical/clinical solutions. Its main field of expertise is focused on the application of Imaging Processing Techniques to the development of Medical Technologies, mainly oriented to the development of automatic diagnosis tools for complex pathologies. Although it is a young company, Transmural Biotech has an excellent track record in the development of both national and international R&D projects involving intersectorial collaboration and a substantial number of patents. This experienced team is complemented with young talented and highly motivated engineers with excellent academic scores and most of them are developing their PhD work in our company in a long term relationship with the mentioned Universities settled in Barcelona. The company has implemented both ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 quality management systems, and also huge experience in the development of final products for Clinical Applications as well as knowledge of Regulatory Affairs. Our products: quantusFLM, first fetal lung maturity test based on ultrasound images, and quantusPREMATURITY, a simple, reliable, quick and easy-to-use application to understand the risk of spontaneous premature birth early.
