TThe IZT - Institute for Futures Studies and Technology Assessment non-profit GmbH was founded in 1981 and addresses the major societal challenges with a focus on the necessary profound transformation of society and is committed to sustainability and the shaping of futures. The IZT stands for the major topics of future viability and shaping, technology assessment and technology design. It is a pioneer in central cross-sectional and integrative fields such as digitalization and resilience.
