Head Injury Rehabilitation and Referral Services, Inc. (HIRRS) is a private, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) agency located in Rockville, Maryland. HIRRS specializes in serving and supporting individuals with various disabilities and impairments stemming from acquired traumatic brain injury. We are dedicated to providing neurological rehabilitation for adults in the greater Washington, DC area and setting a strong foundation for independence. HIRRS opened in 1991 and we continuously strive to meet the needs of our diverse and multicultural clients. With over 20 years experience in the field and a staff committed to neurological rehabilitation, we can help! Services offered include (but are not limited to) cognitive retraining, day treatment programs, vocational supports and job coaching, long-term living residential supports, and community-based supports to individuals living in the community.
