Special Olympics Edmonton is a non-profit volunteer based organization dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with an intellectual disability through sport. It is an organization that celebrates athlete abilities while aiding in development of social skills, sportsmanship and camaraderie. Currently Special Olympics Edmonton serves over 550 athletes in 43 different sport programs.
