"On a Brighter Note" is a weekly newspaper column about life. It’s about everyday situations, life lessons and experiences that all of us have to some degree or another. It’s called “On a Brighter Note” because no matter how difficult and dark life can sometimes seem, there is always a brighter side to everything. We need to remind each other of that and seek the positive that can exist in any situation if we choose to look for it.
