As a leading national voice of the Canadian food and beverage industry, we stand by the critical importance of food sovereignty, farming sustainability, home - based Canadian production, and continuous innovation, as well as, environmentally responsible packaging and sustainable distribution. The COVID-19 pandemic has re-enforced the importance of our food system in Canada, and that our collaboration with other links in the food chain, from primary producers to consumers, is necessary to protect the safety and reliability of our food supply. We continue to work across the many agricultural groups, industry partners, government agencies and officials, and our retail partners to represent our vital contribution to Canada’s local and sustainable food production. FPC promotes the significance and contribution food manufactures make to our economy and to the daily lives of Canadians.
