Starting with PT Transistor Radio Manufacturing Co., he founded in the early 1950s as his own with several friends. Transistor radio brings changes to the lifestyle of the Indonesian people who are scattered in remote islands. By using a battery stone, transistor radio can catch government broadcasts to remote parts of the archipelago. On one occasion he shared his experience when President Soekarno asked him why he chose the transistor radio business, Thayeb replied "So that your speech can be heard everywhere." And all company activities are based on the spirit and principles of honesty and equality. Meanwhile, the existing work culture always promotes a professional attitude through integrity, equality, determination, synergy and responsibility.
