Helix GmbH produces and sells parts for plastic machinery, especially extruders. We are specialized in the manufacturing of extruder barrels and infeed sections with helical and axial grooves and barrier screws. Helix produces and sells the patented HELIBAR extrusion system, which was developed at the University of Stuttgart in 1999. Using a grooved barrel and a barrier screw the HELIBAR system leads to higher output, less engery consumption, better melt quality and more stable extrusion processes. It can be applied to all extruders. Helix also offers the consulting for extrusion processes, screw and barrel design.
