The Root Cause is a 501(c)(3) Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that assists government officials and local leaders with their efforts to expand education about Type 2 Diabetes, promote more effective Diabetes Management and improve quality of life for those suffering from Diabetes. Modeled after the successful Asheville Project, The Root Cause implemented Diabetes Management Program is highlighting just how prevalent Type 2 Diabetes is and the enormous financial burden the disease will place on world governments if drastic measures are not taken to reduce the health impact of Type 2 Diabetes.
