Ranvet was founded by the late Dr Percy Sykes, AM M.R.C.V.S., M.A.C.V.Sc, a highly respected veterinary surgeon who for years worked with legendary trainers such as Tommy Smith and Melbourne Cup King, Bart Cummings. It could be said that the Ranvet product range was born out of a concerned veterinary surgeon’s observations of horses being trained in a very unnatural environment, being fed extremely high carbohydrate diets and being subjected to continual mental and physical stresses.
