The African Drone Forum, a Drone Symposium, Expo & Challenge (ADF), follows on from 2018's Lake Victoria Challenge as an exhibition of state-of-the-art technologies and services for unmanned aerial delivery in Africa. The #ADF2020 will be held in Rwanda in February 2020. Hosted by the Government of Rwanda, with support from the World Bank and other partners, the African Drone Forum will serve as a showcase for the advances in autonomous drone delivery that can make a significant difference for isolated communities and rural areas. This is a transformative story of Africa rising above its current infrastructure challenges and exploring drones as a new mobility model for the Lake Kivu region.
