The 262.5 MW wind farm comprises 125 wind turbines supplied by Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energies. The civil works and electrical substation were provided by Orascom Construction. The company is owned by ENGIE, Toyota Tsusho, Eurus Energy and Orascom Construction. The wind farm reached commercial operation on 31st October 2019, 1.5 months ahead of schedule.
