The NUS Graduate Students' Society (GSS) has been the heart of social and academic life for graduate students since its inception in 1985. GSS is run by a dedicated team of graduate student leaders who strive to enrich the lives of graduate students across all faculties and departments. GSS also aims to facilitate communication between graduate students and the university administration to improve student welfare. Every year, GSS organizes a wide range of events for graduate students. These include academic competitions, career and personal development events, social activities, and student dialogues. The Executive Committee members of GSS also meet with various university administrators to share thoughts and concerns that are relevant to the NUS graduate student community. The mission of GSS is to serve, to connect, and to enrich graduate student life at NUS.
