South College JCR
www.dur.ac.ukJCR stands for ‘Junior Common Room’, a group made up of all the undergraduate students at South College, Durham. As a brand new college, we are lucky enough to be starting many traditions from scratch and organising new societies and events. The JCR is run by a committee of elected student volunteers who give up their time to ensure the student experience is best for all. Together, they organise societies, committees and events throughout the academic year. This gives students a chance to learn the ins-and-outs of everything from marketing to accounting but, most importantly, ensures a great student experience for everyone in the college.
