Here at Positive Thought, we recognize that our lives are multi-dimensional. We might be well integrated in some components of our life and struggle in other aspects. We take on a holistic approach and our workshops are designed to assist participants navigate the daily stresses of life while incorporating tools to build resiliency skills and coping strategies. We are by no means perfect ourselves. In fact, as racialized immigrants, we struggle everyday to combat negative stereotypes. What we have learned from our struggles is that positive thinking is critical in addressing the barriers we experience. Collectively, we can make challenges become opportunities, barriers become stepping stones and turn hardships into ease.
