The Western New York Rural Area Health Education Center (Rural AHEC) is an independent non-profit organization headquartered in Warsaw, New York and serves as a networking hub to a rural 12 – county region. The region includes Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Steuben, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates counties. Rural AHEC focus areas include Healthcare Workforce Development, Rural Healthcare Technology Infrastructure Development, Pipeline Programming, and Preceptor Development/Student Housing.
