Our approach is powered by genomics, AI and blockchain technology, and our mission is to provide a shorter, safer and economical path to accurate diagnosis of genetic disorders and potential treatment. Why: Accurate diagnosis remains a long and painful process that takes 7 years. Even with dozens of medical examinations, 40% of patients are still misdiagnosed. This creates a challenge for patients, doctors and healthcare systems, and the lifetime cost can reach €2.5M per patient. The current clinical protocol relies on a set of non accurate conventional techniques as advanced genomic technologies have high cost and complexity. What: gMendel® technology combines Genomics, AI/Machine Learning & Blockchain, and provides a shorter, safer and more economical path to accurate diagnosis. At the same time, we ensure the highest security & patient data encryption. Our method relies on multilevel multiplexing, DNA sequencing and demultiplexing of barcodes through which genetic disorder classification and detection of a large number of samples is performed by following a deep learning multi model fusion strategy. How: Partnerships with hospitals, research institutes and advocacy groups give access to KOLs & samples, we validate the accuracy, specificity & sensitivity of our proprietary method, while accelerating our AI algorithm development by using state-of-the-art ML methods, combined with deep clinical understanding. Who: We have an extraordinary team of research scientists, engineers with domain expertise from working closely with doctors, biomedical research, and genetic outputs - combined with colleagues with experience/expertise from other institutes, funding and commercialization within the health-tech industry.
