Especially in the summer months of peak power air conditioning use. Our proprietary motor-generator and bearing design allows efficient energy storage in a rotating mass. This is commonly referred to as flywheel energy storage. With the advent of carbon composite technology and better process controls, we have been able to make flywheel energy storage a cost-effective alternative to chemical batteries. Our systems are great for off-grid homeowners as well. Storing more energy than batteries for less cost, as well as providing a robust system that will last decades with less maintenance than current technology.
