Miguel Ángel García Belmonte founded young Spanish label Pott in order to create a platform that both contributes to the preservation of traditional Iberian handcraft while opening up the old and established to new modes of expression. Part of the aptly named ‘Unusual Pottery’ series, Belmonte’s ceramic sponge lights do just that, blending meticulous handwork with the bold organic forms of the ocean to discover new possibilities for contemporary design.
