We are a small, public transfer high school in New York City. We serve a diverse student body with a focus on inquiry-based learning. Urban Academy Laboratory High School is a member of the New York Performance Standards Consortium. As a member of the Consortium, our public transfer high school provides opportunities for students to demonstrate their depths of knowledge through Project Based Assessment Tasks, aka Proficiencies, in lieu of the Regents Examinations.
