Morphmom is thrilled to announce our second "Morphmom Next Up Non-Conference" on Monday October 23rd at Playwrights Horizons in NYC from 1:00-9:00PM. Our inaugural event this past June was such a huge success, our members wanted more so we decided to have another event There are many conferences , but not all are tailor-made for Morphmom wants, needs and schedules. Thus, we like to think of ours as a “non-conference”, antithetical to the typical event, in the sense that we incorporate a wide variety of topics to reach a wide variety of interests. We provide panels on taking hobbies/interests/skills/ passions to the next level, starter kits for getting one’s business off of the ground, and practical tips for actual business owners (from financial to legal), just to name a few. We also provide panels on individual financial preparedness, health and wellness and other topical subjects. This event on October 23rd will have career-related and financial panels, along with one devoted to 'Metabolism, Menopause and …Botox!' During the "Opportunity Hour" , we will host live tables representing volunteer, retail, investment and paid opportunities. You may actually leave our event with a position! We will display “Interest and Opportunity Boards” throughout the event where attendees can list and promote their individual pursuits and businesses. This way women looking to connect with others in specific areas or fields can place said requests on the boards as well. And those looking to hire women can post their available opportunities. Anyone interested in the posts can pin their contact info to the boards and we will help to make a follow up connection. I am confident that this will be a great way for our attendees to network. We will culminate the event with a cocktail party from 6-9pm and a special guest speaker and encourage millennials to join us during this portion of the event
