DSM Austria GmbH was founded in 2021 after Royal DSM acquired the former ERBER Group, consisting of its subsidiaries BIOMIN and Romer Labs, in October 2020. DSM Austria’s specialty animal nutrition and health business Biomin specializes primarily in mycotoxin risk management and gut health performance management. The Romer Labs business focuses on food and feed safety diagnostic solutions. The acquisition has further strengthened DSM’s position as the world market leader in mycotoxin risk management (toxins produced by molds) and as a leading provider of sustainable feed and animal health solutions. With its head office in Getzersdorf and production and research facilities based in Tulln, DSM Austria is perfectly placed as a central hub for feed additives and premixes in DSM’s global network.
