MISSION+OUR VOICE The Music on the RISE Foundation (or “MOTR” ) is an organization that is dedicated to the providing robust musical education, cultural music heritage and professional music industry guidance to the black and latino identifying youth in underserved communities severely lacking in music education funding in the NYC metropolitan area. Our initial focus being in the most in-need neighborhoods of the Bronx and Brooklyn. We aim to implement a comprehensive grassroots approach to ensure sustainable and long-term success by partnering with schools and local organizations, to service specific needs by supplying much needed gear and resources, offering a sequential curriculum and after-school programs to maintain the highest quality standards in music education.
