'YUVA' in Project YUVA stands for 'Young people Understanding and Verbalizing Adolescence' It was started by a 14 year old young lady who was in distress due to sexual harassment that was meted out to her, in Vellore, Tamilnadu, India, in the year 2015, What she started then is continued today as a formal project of three entities namely Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, Childline India Foundation (CIF), Mumbai and the Hope House (THH), Vellore. Our objective is to reach every adolescent in Vellore district with authentic and reliable information pertaining to their health so that they become informed adolescents to make the right choices for their future.
