Planes of Reference is a local custom furniture company established in 2006. It is independently owned and operated by Jason Herrick and each unique piece is designed and hand crafted by him. He has an extraordinary eye for design, shape and details and insists on the highest quality of products and fabrication. His degree in the fine arts cultivated a high standard of workmanship and keen problem solving skills. Jason prides himself on open client communication and enjoys the collaboration necessary with other designers and tradesmen to create a distinct home that reflects the personality of the individual. Jason has experience with every style of work from old 19th Century homes to modern lofts. In order to offset his use of hardwoods and damage to the environment, Jason donates to local environmental organizations. Planes of Reference continues to grow and serve the greater Portland area.
