Our role as a nature conservation organization seated in Berlin, Germany is to support local conservation structures in order to effectively conserve and restore highly endangered forest ecosystems. Our current focus is the Chocó, a unique and extremely biodiverse coastal rainforest spanning from Ecuador to Panamá that unfortunately has been heavily logged (about 95% in Ecuador) and is therefore highly threatened. We raise and redistribute funding for our Ecuadorian partner organization Proyecto Washu (proyectowashu.org) and engage in building awareness for the challenges and solutions to solving the global environmental crisis locally in Berlin.
