This my solo practice in Lynbrook, NY. I provide mental health services and witness preparation. I provide short-term, effective psychotherapy for acute problems (anxiety, panic, phobias, ocd, etc.) using the cbt model. This is an empirically based model. I also provide depth psychotherapy based on the Young & Klosko's schema model. This is an extension of Beck's cognitive therapy for dysfunctional core beliefs. It is a common-sense learning-theory model. After successfully helping roughly a dozen patients prepare for depositions and trial, I have begun to offer witness preparation services. My services are based on stress management and assertiveness training, focused on giving testimony in a hostile environment. I teach people to avoid verbal tricks and traps while providing accurate and complete testimony asserting their position.
