Haki is a registered charity committed to fighting poverty whilst preserving the environment, through active promotion and delivery of sustainable water projects in Africa. We are engineers, scientists and senior managers, who apply our skills and knowledge to deliver sustainable water projects and enhance the lives of under-served communities. Our Mission: “to transform the lives of under-served communities by promoting sustainable water management and improved sanitation”. We work directly with the poor and vulnerable people at grass-root level to continuously listen, learn and deliver longer term value to the communities in which they live, enabling them to improve their quality of life. Our focus is on: 1. Promotion of sustainable water management. 2. Promotion of health and improved sanitation. 3. Advancement of education. 4. Promotion of sustainable development for the public benefit by: i. the relief of poverty and the improvement of the conditions of life in socially and economically disadvantaged communities ii. the promotion of sustainable means of achieving economic growth and regeneration. iii. the maintenance, improvement or provision of public amenities 5. Stimulation of development and growth of local businesses engaging in and promoting sustainable programmes in developing countries.
