GFE is a full service medical development company that offers the entire scope of the development process. We provide the ability to foster our customer's creative ideas and turn them into a product from design through prototype machining, injection molding, and testing to prepare the product for high volume manufacturing and ultimately the marketplace. We also have extensive experience and appreciation of high volume manufacturing, this allows us to design products focusing on the end result. Our mission statement is to maintain a highly focused development business with a small group of skilled individuals and appropriate equipment to turn challenging ideas into new medical products in the shortest possible time.We are located in the picturesque woods of Southern Maine, with a quiet atmosphere conducive to the concentration necessary for the development process. Our facilities include a total of 3000 square feet housing our conferencing, designing, prototype machining, molding, and testing space. Our machines include three and four axis CNC milling machines, lathes, and an Arburg 28 ton injection molding machine with state of the art Selogica computer controls. The molding machine has the customized capability to perform liquid silicone injection molding (LIM). We also maintain an extensive inventory of polymers, including rigid plastics, elastomers, and urethanes.
